This first year of Messy Motherhood has taught me so much. I have learned to not be so hard on myself, and I have learned that sometimes you just don’t have to try as hard as you think you should. Those two things are two of my biggest flaws just ask my husband and he will tell you that I always try too hard at everything I do and that I am too hard on myself. That type of pressure I think must come from my upbringing, and I personally wouldn’t change it for the world.
Credit and admiration to my amazing husband who wanted to take a moment while dinner was burning on the stove to capture these in our backyard, completely his idea by the way! Dinner is always burning on the stove at our house so that isn’t anything new!
Here is a glimpse at my messy motherhood moment. And yes sometimes we have candy before dinner because life is just too short.
So over the next few weeks leading up to Mothers Day 4 to be exact, I am going to be featuring different Mothers in their Own Messy Motherhood Moments. I really feel that all of us Mothers deserve an honest look at how our babies see us.
